Drawing BCC Structures | ||
Sometimes circles are used to represent body-centered cubic structures. We will use bold circles (drawing 1) to represent the atoms in the first layer of a BCC structure. Narrow circles (drawing 2) represent the second layer. Use the links to explore how the circles in the drawing relate to the position of the atoms in a BCC structure. |
