The Chemistry Laboratory Curriculum (CLC) Innovators Program is now accepting applications for the 2025 cohort! This program offers institutional teams from across the U.S. the chance to participate in a week-long summer institute and ongoing virtual support meetings during the 2025-2026 academic year. The goal of the CLC Innovators Program is to help transform traditional chemical experiments into engaging, inquiry-based experiences for your students.
This opportunity is open to faculty-led teams from both 2-year and 4-year institutions, with financial support provided by a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). Financial assistance will be provided to cover costs for teams to participate in the 2025 Summer Institute, including travel and accommodations. Tenured, tenure-track, and other full-time faculty are encouraged to apply, and laboratory projects can focus on any chemistry sub-discipline.
To learn more, visit the CLC program website. If interested, apply via the Google form application. Applications are due by December 31, 2024, and selected teams will be notified by February 1, 2025.
We recommend discussing this opportunity with colleagues at your institution. Information on forming teams and team size limits is available on the website. You will also need a support letter from your department chair or program head as part of the application process.
